SYNOPSIS

Diego "Bull" Avello left his family, friends, and small mountain town in Northern Spain with no connections and no Plan B to pursue a career in Rock & Roll and the American Dream.Shot across three countries — USA, Mexico, and Spain — "I Took the Road Less Traveled" follows Bull's journey from working as a bartender and playing in small bars to conquering major US stages like NASCAR, NBA halftime shows, Sun Studio, and placing his music in major TV shows.The film documents the real challenges behind chasing the American Dream: the immigration process, cultural barriers, financial struggles, homelessness, and personal sacrifices. Featuring raw live footage, intimate interviews, and the band's performances. An inspiring story about perseverance and stubbornness and what it takes to dedicate your life to Rock & Roll.The film is currently on the international festival circuit and has won 3 awards, with additional festival submissions underway.
